Major Medical Fee Waiver Process

If you do not want the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must decline or opt-out of coverage by submitting a waiver. You may only opt-out of coverage during the following Waiver Periods. If your waiver is approved, it is with an understanding that you will be covered for the entire fall/spring semester. If you lose coverage, you are responsible to enroll in a qualifying event (loss of coverage). To do so, please click here, and enroll using the Student with a Qualifying Life Event accordion.
